At Grove Internal Medicine, our mission is to keep you healthy. The Practice offers same day
appointments, a friendly and helpful staff and on-site Lab services. We strive to provide the highest
quality of patient care and convenience by offering our patients on-site medical services.

What makes an Internal Medicine Physician different from a Family Practice Physician?
An Internal Medicine doctor has done a residency consisting entirely of treating adults and the full range of diseases that affect that population. A physician in Family Practice has done a residency that includes pediatrics as well as adult medicine.

Geriatric Care

Grove Internal Medicine has a special clinical focus on geriatric care. Geriatric care management is sometimes called “elder care management”, “senior health care management” and “professional care management.” The care of the elderly with physical or mental health issues, and coordinating their long term care needs is all part of geriatric care. The goal is to improve quality of life for senior patients.

Diabetes Management

Grove Internal Medicine focuses on caring for you and your diagnosis of Diabetes. Though diabetes is a common disease, each patient requires an individual plan. Our office educates each patient on the various medications, and encourages not only the patient, but family members to be familiar with the available therapies ad with lifestyle changes that can improve the diabetes diagnosis.

Hypertension Management

Grove Internal Medicine provides treatment for Hypertension (high blood pressure), because there is the danger of it can lead to strokes, heart attacks, heart failure, or kidney disease. Our office creates individual treatment plans, and educates each patient on the important lifestyle changes and possible drug therapies that can keep hypertension under control.

Congestive Heart Failure Management

Grove Internal Medicine helps our patients manage the conditions that may damage the heart muscle, including: Coronary artery disease, cardiomyopathy, and heart attacks, conditions that cause the arteries become blocked or severely narrowed, resulting in the heart becomes starved for oxygen and nutrients. High blood pressure, valve disease, thyroid disease, kidney disease, diabetes, or heart defects present at birth can all cause heart failure.
